Saved 0%Silken tofu scares the crap out of me. I hate it’s goopy sloppy texture and 9/10 when I’ve bought it, it tastes like chemicals. This one is very nice though. I like to use it to make my own aioli and it’s perfectly creamy. The packaging is a pain in the ass though because the plastic just shreds into tiny strips as you can kinda see in the photo #alv

As much as I love firm tofu, silken tofu is my favourite when it comes to soups and hotpot 😋 I like to bread it too! It’s crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Although, this particular silken tofu is not as soft as those you can find at Asian groceries and it’s more expensive. #veganisnotscary
Makes the “eggiest” tofu scramble with a nice creamy texture. It’s a relatively small packet as it shrinks up when cooking, so got 2 small-ish serves from this. Around $2.30 for a 300g packet. I like that it’s accessible (find at Coles), would buy again.

Nice texture. It serves its purpose. You can make scrambled tofu with it.
