Cake is a recommended sulfate free shampoo within the curly hair community as it is curly girl method approved. If you do not know about CGM ( Curly Girl Method ) , please do look it up. Cake is rare to find within the hair industry as it is vegan and is sulfate free which is good for the scalp.

The big big deal shampoo can be used with the conditioner which is a good combination to be used. It is also a good quantity that you receive. In my opinion, the price in Australia could be a bit cheaper or buy the products when it is on sale. The packaging could also be more sustainable and recyclable.

Just like the conditioner I also loved this shampoo! You do not need much for a entire head of long hair as it lathers 🧼 suuuper well, and cleans without leaving you with that feeling of being stripped by chemicals. Together this and the conditioner left my hair feeling soft and healthy and happy 😊. I do find it smells more like bubblegum then cake, but my family says it smells like cake so maybe that’s just me. Overall it’s a great shampoo that I definitely recommend! 🧖‍♀️
