As soon as I found out that my Gillette razor was not vegan, I got online and ordered a Billie razor. Their products are 100% vegan and plant based, while other brands sometimes use moisturizing strips that contain animal ingredients, such as lanolin (from sheep).

This Billie razor is super moisturizing and sharp! I love their subscription plan, but I’m not a huge fan of all the plastic packaging (3 unnecessary plastic bags within the box). I emailed them to ask about recycling/sustainability so stay tuned ✌🏼 Price: $9 for starter kit, $9 for 4 blades refill.

UPDATE: they replied and said they are changing their blade refill packages to “a plastic-free mailer made from 100% recycled paper that's fully compostable.” 🌎💛

Billie is a membership program, which may put some people off, but the lowest level is reasonable! $9 per shipment, 3 shipments per year. This is hands down the best razor I have ever used. I don’t use any kind of shave gel or cream with it and I never get cuts or burns. It makes me hate shaving way less. Thank you for being vegan and cruelty free, Billie! #mercyforanimals

I love Billie razors. As a gender fluid bio-masc person I’ve found it hard to find the right products especially for body hair removal. Although there is still a tricky spot to shave, Billie is by far the best razor I’ve found for my abdomen and legs. Glad my partner introduced me to this company.

I’m so glad that I found this company. I wasn’t able to find a cruelty-free razor that I could buy at my local store, so having a subscription really helped. ( However, I just recently saw them being sold in a Walmart.) The holder, which I’m also super grateful for, ended up being a disappointment, it wouldn’t stay stuck. I appreciate the backup “sticky stuff” (it may do better on tile than acrylic/fiberglass). I’m saving the extra for my permanent house.

I like the auto-ship orders. The company will ship fresh blades to you every month, so there is no need to use a hairy blade. Fresh shave!
