Great to have phyllo dough/puff pastry as a vegan option (some have dairy butter in

it). Pictured here is a Wellington dish and a Turkish Borek made from it. I made the Borek from leftover sheets that's been in the freezer for over 6 months and was very surprised that it was still pliable enough to work with! Very nice and flaky results.

I have been buying the Athens Foods Frozen Phyllo dough sheets for years. It’s accessible

and clearly marked as vegan. There aren’t too many different brands for sale but this one is usually the cheapest. I recommend thawing it out in the fridge the day before you want to use it!

I got this for Christmas to make a Christmas tree with pesto and cherry tomatoes.

It tastes good but ingredients are not my favorite, as it has canola oil, various preservatives, etc.
We are used to cook at home but I wanted to try that Christmas snack.
