Sheep in special care eating fruit ice cream too 🤩🤩🤩
Among Pablito, Flor and Victoria, only Victoria wanted ice cream. Susi is one of her caregivers and yesterday she offered fruit ice cream to this very special group. Victoria has been at the Sanctuary since 2019 and has a chronic problem in a joint that they could not solve even at the Hospital, where she was hospitalized for weeks. And she is very brave, caring and trusting, apart from being super special.
Flor, the one with dark wool, arrived in 2020 with 3 months to live and a disease that caused laxity in all her joints and then a general lack of mobility. And Pablito, the other “sheep” who did not want ice cream, came in 2015 rescued from the floods of the Ebro, where he lost a leg and has lived as an amputee ever since.
The three of them enjoy their lives, a life limited by their condition, but made possible by the daily care they receive. Animals are often rescued in a very complicated condition due to their health. And only with the commitment of people who attend and care for them, can they have the possibility of enjoying a second chance. Because when they manage to escape from a farm or slaughterhouse, it is impossible to leave them behind. They deserve this job, they deserve this effort, to make up for everything they have suffered and what millions of others will suffer without anyone being able to help them.
And it is for this reason that we take care of the animals as much as they do, and we even bring them ice creams in a heat wave (although some do not take them 😅).

Ovejas en cuidados especiales comiendo heladito de frutas también 🤩🤩🤩
De entre Pablito, Flor y Victoria, solo Victoria quiso helado. Susi es una de sus cuidadoras y ayer les ofrecía helado de frutas a este grupo tan especial. Victoria lleva en el Santuario desde 2019 y tiene un problema crónica en una articulación que no pudieron solucionar siquiera en el Hospital, donde estuvo semanas hospitalizada. Y es muy valiente, cariñosa y confiada, aparte de súper especial.
Flor, la de lana oscura, llegó en 2020 con 3 meses de vida y una enfermedad que le provocó laxitud en todas sus articulaciones y luego una falta de movilidad generalizada. Y Pablito, el otro “ovejo” que no quiso helado, vino en 2015 rescatado de las riadas del Ebro, donde perdió una pierna y vive amputado desde entonces.
Los tres disfrutan de su vida, una vida limitada por su condición, pero que es posible gracias a los cuidados diarios que reciben. A menudo los animales son rescatados en una condición muy complicada por su salud. Y solo con el compromiso de gente que les atienda y cuide, pueden tener la posibilidad de disfrutar de una segunda oportunidad. Porque cuando consiguen escapar de una granja o matadero, es imposible dejarles atrás. Merecen este trabajo, merecen este esfuerzo, par compensar todo lo que han sufrido y lo que otros millones como ellos sufrirán sin que nadie les pueda ayudar.
Y es por ese motivo que cuidamos tanto a los animales como ellos, y hasta les llevamos heladitos en ola de calor (aunque algunos no se los tomen 😅).
