Hello everyone!! It’s been busy at PEAK in Freedom, Indiana. ☀️

Our sweet Agatha underwent surgery last week and had a toe amputated due to a bacterial infection. 🐓

This has been an ongoing issue for her. Before coming to PEAK, Agatha was left in rubble at the factory farm where she was born after a tornado blew through. Her foot issues began then, but she has been doing very well. 🌪️

Our team has been taking great care of Agatha to keep her comfortable, including daily foot soaks medication before surgery. 🛁 💊

Your support through abillion makes it possible for us to provide the individualized care our residents deserve. Running a sanctuary is not a cheap endeavor, especially when many individuals who call PEAK home are approaching (or already in!) their senior years. 🐄🐷🐐
