This was another memorable transport. We were contacted about a huge hoarding case out in Illinois, more than 70 sheep desperately needed care. Over half were pregnant. The organizers broke the sheep up into groups for the sanctuaries, by mother and child. We ended up bringing 5 home. Two moms, two babies and one female that was pregnant, but she either sadly lost the baby or ewes got mixed up in the craziness. We drove to Kanda Farm Sanctuary and ended up hauling 12 sheep back, 5 for Sunrise, 4 for a beautiful micro sanctuary near Cleveland, Haven at Foxwood and 3 rambunctious rams for a rescue near Marysville. Our one baby was only 2 days old, we named her Kanjen. Hawks was 3-4 weeks old (cinnamon color) they've all come a long way and are so friendly and loving.
