Children's book by my daughter youth author @lotuskay tells the story of Milo the turkey as he tries to navigate "Turkey Day." Milo will make you want to stick our your heart to animals this year. The book presents a new way of looking at food choices and Thanksgiving through a turkey's eyes. The book also feature back pages on "What does it mean to be vegan,", "How to Make a Cruelty-Free Thanksgiving" and "Animal Sanctuaries." The book is part of a series Lotus created called called Bears for Cares (bearsforcares.com) aimed at creating a more compassionate world which began as a project of Jane Goodall Institute's Roots & Shoots youth service program. Price below is for book AND the companion stuffed animal "turkey" of the main character "Milo". Just the book is $21.99 including shipping. This book has been featured by PETA Kids. and Catskill Animal Sanctuary among others.. a portion of proceeds is donated to the Jane Goodall Institute.
