A regular menu item on #airasias menu! I finally tried it today. You get loads of rice, made up off #purplerice and #basmati. This is topped with a delicious #sambal. It was not too spicy, but had a nice subtle flavor. Some #peanuts were present, as well as crunchy bits.

The star of the dish is the curry. You get an amount that’s perfect for the rice. It’s flavorful, many spices were used, and it’s coconut milk based. There are vegan protein chunks inside which were pretty good. Some #eggplant and #greenbeans provide a bit of vegetables.

All in all: a very solid airplane dish. It’s small and thus makes for a rather light lunch. I had it on a dinner time flight and paired it with a salad and some fruit that brought. Then it made for a good dinner.
