Review of Non-dairy strawberry mochi - Bubbies by beckyyy

A refreshing treat! Unfortunately choices are slim when it comes to vegan friendly Mochi ice cream in my area (RIP TJ Thai tea mini mochi 😭). The mango version it tried from this brand recently was delicious but didn’t have quite the texture I expected. I imagined this one would be the same and it is.

The mochi outside has less chewy of a texture and more of a fruit snack like texture. The ice cream inside is very light. This being said, the dessert is very enjoyable! It is not overly sweet and the flavor is nice. I found the mango flavor to be bolder and prefer that option.

The individually wrapped packs make it easy to share. I’m not sure if a carton or the individual wraps are more eco friendly but I hope we can move towards more sustainable wrapping for these types of treats.
