Review of Choccy peanutsters - Buttermilk by vanille
#compostable, #palmoilfree, #recyclable
I used to love this type of #peanut candy before being vegan so I am very excited about finally trying an alternative!
The outer shell is thin, crunchy and sugary-sweet. There is a decently thick layer of #rice-based #milkchocolate, it is very smooth and creamy with a very nice texture. The flavour of the #chocolate is very mild and definitely on the sweet side.
Nothing bad to say about the #peanuts either, crunchy with a great nutty flavour and seemed high quality to me. The #candies are brightly coloured, which was surprisingly nice as some candies with ‘natural’ dyes tend to be a bit more muted.
Clearly showing you don’t need any crushed insects for a nice bright red🎈
The design is very nice with a #plasticfree packaging that is also #compostable! Not resealable but it is a pretty small bag so I don’t mind that. Clearly labeled as vegan.
They are #palmoilfree and suitable for those of you that are #glutenfree. It also does not contain soy
I got this bag online for 69 NOK, which is not cheap at all for a small bag but we don’t have vegan candies like this in stores here.
Very sugary and crunchy treat that was very yummy! 🥜🍫 So far I have loved everything I have tried from this brand.
