I wasn't sure if these were vegan but the ingredients looked okay (except for all those cryptic numbers) 🙄 I emailed GWF and they responded that there are no animal products in the Golden Crumpets range and that they are therefore suitable for vegetarians/vegans. #veganisnotscary #crumpets #australia #animalsarefriendsnotfood

veganadam Well it would help if they labeled them as vegan. I don't know how many vegans bother contacting companies to ask. Sometimes I will buy something and wait to hear back but other times if I'm not sure, I just won't buy the product. All the whining about "but it costs to get the vegan logo" or the concern about legal issues if they claim their product doesn't contain something.. 🤭 Honestly, it worries me more when companies print the stupid catch-alls "may contain milk or milk products". If it ain't on the ingredients list, where do you think it might come from?! 👽2 likesReply
