Review of No. 57 Tofu with Vegetables• Curry-Mango-Coconut-Sauce and Grilled Banana in Sticky Rice at Ong Tao - Vietnamesisches Restaurant & Bar by florence-al

The food was really great and was decorated beautifully. I also love the decoration of the restaurant. It is really more than just a random restaurant. I ordered Tofu with Vegetables in a Curry Mango Coconut Sauce (No. 57) from the Vegetarian Menu. Be careful, not everything on there is vegan. But for this dish the staff assured me it is. I don't know if it comes soy free by default or just because I asked for a soy free dish (of course my version was without Tofu then). It tasted as good as it looked like! The taste was flavorful, but not very spicy. I'd rather describe it as a sweet taste. The dessert was grilled banana in Sticky Rice with coconut milk and peanuts as a topping. It was really a highlight! The only thing I disliked was the service. The waitress was a little arrogant and I didn't feel very valued as a customer. For three times, but maybe it was just bad luck catching this very specific waitress.

Aaaand make sure you have a reservation. It seems many people are just as crazy about this restaurant as I am. :)
