Black Beans

I’ve been having a craving lately for burritos, although the final dish tonight didn’t quite turn out right. But it was still good and it contained black beans.

I buy these regularly at No Frills. They’re an inexpensive way of getting a healthy source of potassium, protein, fibre and iron, without the fat and sodium.

These were “cleaner” than I expected for a regular canned product. “May contain” calcium chloride means it doesn’t - happy to see that on the label! They were great in our Cowboy Chili ☺️🌱❤️

Same as the pinto beans, we’re always stocked on these for burritos, salads, etc
