I used half a jar to make 4 servings of pasta and it was already crazily #spicy; the instructions say to use a full jar? 🤯 This #rendang #paste isn't creamy by itself, so when they say to use coconut milk, just use coconut milk. Don't try to be a smart ass like I was and attempt to make it work with soy milk instead 😭 I'm still going to have to deal with the remaining three servings of this ☹️
It’s so hard to find vegan pastes, this was exceptional rare. So glad to have found this. This was flavorful, added the right amount of spicy and taste to my coconut curry.
Good buy if you are craving Rendang. I tried it with coconut and soy mylk. Paired quite well with jackfruit and impossible beef. They mentioned it has no oil. However, it was too greasy for me. Can try if you are okay with all the calories #abillionturns3
I am a rendang fan and this paste did not disappoint. It is rich and spicy with all the flavours of what a rendang should have - sweet, savoury, spicy. Cooked this up with canned jackfruit and it was fabulous 😋
A handy one to have in the kitchen, especially if you have guests to impress.
