These have a mild fava bean taste, and I can detect the tomato and onion parts of the seasoning. The texture is wonderfully crunchy and dense. It’s a concept I love. I’m just unsure how excited I am with this particular flavoring. I certainly would choose the Buffalo wing flavor over the Mesquite BBQ one, as that tastes closer to what a good BBQ tastes like to me. I get a little sad over it, because I usually love everything BBQ flavored, as those spices always just blend well together.
Each 1 ounce (28g) serving provides only 100 calories from 3g of fat, 15g of carbohydrates (5g from fiber), and 7g of protein.
You can find these at ShopRite for $3.99. I always try to wait for a sale or coupon for the bean snacks, because the bag is only 4.5 ounces.
