Trader Joe’s liquid Stevia is my favorite that I have tried. It doesn’t have any additional flavors like you can find elsewhere, but it’s the best tasting. I’ve tried a few others that I found at various grocery stores, more
Not my favorite protein supplement. Yes it has some nice adaptogens, etc, but it also has added sugar, and only 16g protein. And it’s crazy expensive. There are better options out there.
After my dad had a stroke, I had to find some low sodium food that he would eat. These were his favorite!
28g protein, and a nice proprietary blend! I like to add a little stevia to sweeten.
These are my crutch to get through a salad sometimes. I air fry them for 13 minutes at 400 degrees, and add to salad or just have them with a starchy side. They do have gluten, though.
I use this in everything from coffee to peanut butter “milkshakes” (PB 2 is involved.... so good.) Unsweetened to avoid sugar, and if you want it sweeter, you could always add a few drops of stevia.
In case you aren’t familiar with Tempeh, it’s very different than tofu in texture and taste. I find it is best if you boil it for five minutes then put it directly into a marinade. Then I usually brown it in a pan and either more
The trick is to press out the water from the tofu, then marinate it (I like using an Asian marinade), then bake it! I wish this brand would do the vacuum pack so there’d be a lot less water- other brands are better in that respect.
Very tasty ZERO calorie natural sweetener. It’s yummy on cereal, or in coffee, plus you can bake with it.
These little guys have a lot of protein, but very subtle flavor. You can add a few tablespoons to soup, salads, pasta dishes, etc to bump up the protein content. No prep needed, just chuck some in your dish!
