Review of Crispy Chicken Sandwich at SIGGIS v/gan burger & co - Maxvorstadt by alainasparagus

Honestly, this one was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for some good mock chicken, or at the very least, a thick cut of tofu, with a thick layer of crisp on it. Instead, it was a very thin pressed piece of tofu, not even a centimeter thick, with very light breading. The filling of the patty, shredded lettuce, and tomato were dwarfed by the bun with a poor bread:filling ratio. The honey mustard sauce was good, but nothing exciting. I was definitely still hungry and drooling over my husband's Triple Nasty burger. I love what this restaurant is doing, and it is a great spot for some greasy vegan junk food, but I would not order the crispy chicken sandwich again.
