Alright, I was totally conflicted about reviewing these Cinnaholic bite-sized baby buns. Since the company is 100% vegan and from Berkeley (I hold the East Bay close to my heart), I was very excited to try these and I wanted very badly to love them.

These baby buns were decent. They maybe were sitting around a while or something though. They felt a little tough, and in terms of taste I actually prefer Annie's cinnamon rolls. Service was fast and friendly.

My quandary is this, should I overlook the shortcomings of a place whose mission and values I feel strongly aligned with? I feel like I should support establishments that further the plant-based movement, even if I don't totally love the product.

beckyyy Bummer! They’re so cute, and a good option when you don’t want a whole roll. 3 likesReply
acastillon @beckyyy yes the perfect size! I'll definitely try them again when I see one (I don't think there are any in Wisconsin currently).2 likesReply
louisg I’ve never had a bad experience at Cinnaholic (in Toronto and Ottawa, Canada). Maybe you just got a stale batch of the baby buns. Give them another try. 3 likesReply
