Review of Vegan Zucchini Tart with Sweet Potato and Salad at Right Path Cafe by stevenneoh
I finally visited Auroville 🙂 In fact my entire trip was about coming to see this place up close (not too close, as it turns out, since the viewing point for Matrimandir is a good three hundred metres or so away 😅 But I enjoyed my time at the visitors centre learning about the origins and history of this fascinating community. I attach some pictures from my sightseeing, though yes, this is primarily a food review 😅
The food was a bit disappointing though 😥 Whether you like your #tart crispy/flaky or crusty/crumbly, this wouldn't do because it was just tough and a bit too hefty 😬 Then the #zucchini didn't quite have the spice or flavour that I would expect, they are a bit plain 😐 The #sweetpotato could've been put to much better use, say baked into the tart or spiced into something delightful, but instead they were just cut roughly into slabs and baked 😧 #toohealthy perhaps. The less said about the #salad the better.
Apologies for the tricks that the motifs of the glass ceiling played on the photographs. I was admittedly also very distracted by the little fella in the second picture, at the time when the first picture was taken 😉
