Review of Falafel Mix - Trader Joe's by timvegmalone
This is such a delicious and easy way to have a good falafel sandwich or salad at home. Falafel really isn’t that hard to make from scratch, so I’m glad there is an even quicker flavorful option with this. Gluten-free and made with fava beans. Just add water, and set mixture aside for 30 minutes. I baked these instead of frying, and it tasted great to me. Plus they weren’t dry after baking them either. It’s spiced really well, and tasted great in a pita 🥙. I’ll definitely get this again.

timvegmalone I have made it, but it was definitely a very minimalist version of it with: chickpeas, parsley, onions, oat flour, and some different spices. I’d love to make it again following a good recipe though! Trader Joe’s makes it hard, since they make their version so great!1 likeReply
