Review of Spaghetti - Rao’s Homemade by mynameislisa
Rao's is a legendary Italian restaurant in NYC that is notorious for being impossible to get a reservation because the tables are basically "owned" by regulars who are celebrities and other connected locals.
Selling products with their name on it is a great way for the brand to extend their reach and capitalize on their name. And of course the pasta is well-made and holds up well as it is cooked.
It has an almost buttery flavor when you taste it plain, with no sauce. I made a Baby Bella mushroom and TVP sauce for it and am happy to have easy leftovers for this busy tax deadline week. Some people always wait until the last minute!
