Review of Schmaltz - Berkies by tonibrockhoven

Originally chicken based rendered fat, this version from the chiller is always vegan in South Africa and made with sunflower oil simmered with carrots and onions. So good, they say, even the chicken can’t tell the difference. Spread on white bread with salt and pepper, it is fabulous. Used in cooking, a winner!!
