These doughnuts are perfectly light, airy and moist with an extra boost of flavor, colour and freshness from the orange and a faint hint of almond. And holy crap they smell AMAZING! The zesty orange flavour totally shines through and blends in so well with the carrot and almond extract combo. I also love the extra drizzle of orange icing and chopped almonds which makes for a delicious morning pastry or midday snack.
