Splat Hair Dye

I bought this color to do teal/turquoise shadow roots as my natural blonde hair/roots kept growing so fast and, against my black hair, it made me look bald! I couldn’t take it anymore and just caved and bought it. I didn’t use the bleach in the kit as I’ve heard bad things and seen awful reviews that the bleach in the kit ruined their hair and made their hair fall out or fried it beyond repair. My hair is naturally a white blonde so I didn’t really worry about the bleach. I do like how it turned out however the color did not grab onto some areas in my hair so it looks patchy. It’s a nice base color for me to go over it with another color but also be aware that this stuff does last forever until you bleach it out or color over it with a darker color (I used the violet color 7 years ago & that’s what happened plus other people said the same thing). So just know that this isn’t a semi-permanent colorant because it truly does stain your hair like a permanent color would. It was only $9.99 so not a bad price. As a base color, I’d say go ahead and get it but as a color you depend on using and want to stay long without fading, I would opt for something better.

mynaughtyvegan Im using Schwarzkopf got2b lightened it’s easy to used and lifted 8 times my black hair so my new red sit nicely and they are gentle not brassy and dried out the hair Reply
amsvfrazier90 Where are you located? I wanted to try them out but I saw they test on animals 😞they have a vegan line in Germany but unfortunately they still animal test so I’m not sure how they consider it vegan. 2 likesReply

amsvfrazier90 Sad day; I just checked and they unfortunately still test on animals. I wonder if enough people email them if they’d consider a kinder route.1 likeReply
