Omg! I need to check this out. I miss eating all the Indian sweets. Where did you buy this?

I ordered it online from Waangoo! They do nationwide delivery I believe so it shouldn't be a problem :)

Omg! I miss these kaju sweets! 😍 I thought most of them in Asian shops had dairy! 

Yeah a lot of Indian sweets tend use milk and/or ghee so that's why it's crucial to read all the ingredients carefully 😬 But I checked this multiple times cuz I also couldn't believe it was vegan! 😂🤩

We have a few Indian shops in Bucharest; maybe I can find some of these vegan sweets!

Check https://www.haldirams.com/kaju-katli-1424.html the description says that "Haldiram's Kaju Katli is made with quality cashews, thick milk and edible silver foil." But the ingredients list and allergen info on the box shown in the pictures doesn't mention milk

Happy Diwali!! 🪔✨ Also, wow I didn’t know that so many Indian sweets are #accidentallyvegan. This Kaju Katli is great as it tastes very similar to the freshly made one you get in India. But with $15 for a 500g box, it’s a little on the expensive side - which is why we only buy it for special occasions like Diwali.
