Review of Green Papaya Salad at Lucky Lotus by glendasb

I’m a midwestern white girl so most Asian folks look at me sideways when I talk about my deep love and affection for green papaya salad. But I’m a devotee x 10. It is almost impossible to find on a menu sans fish sauce. But Lucky Lotus has it made to order. I gave them my recipe for vegan fish sauce and with that addition now my world is complete! I have discovered the best Green Papaya Salad ever!!! (Affectionately referred to as GPS). You know this is good stuff because my white girl friend, meet eating friend who hails from deep, deep Southern Texas is now also a huge fan. And she had both versions and said the vegan kind is far superior. Woo hoo!
