I honestly like these better than Beyond Meat’s ground beef, and I don’t have to spend a million dollars on it, even when it isn’f on sale. Love to see store brands getting on board with products like these.

I wasn’t a fan of this Simple Truth plant based meat. I think I’ll stick to gardien, beyond and impossible. This didn’t brown as I cooked it and that threw me off presentation wise. It taste OK seasoned and thrown in a taco but definitely didn’t have its own meaty flavor that I think the other brands offer. Would I buy it again? No, but I would eat it again if it was served to me.

I compare all meat to Beyond because it’s the best in my opinion. This is cheaper, but it sticks badly (even when I heavily oil the pan), and doesn’t taste quite as good. #luvinarms
Overall this was a great mock meat. The texture was on point but the taste was plaintive. But by itself it is bland. But mixed into a meal it looks great and taste better, just lacks flavor. If it absorb the flavors your cooking then it would be the best. But it doesn’t do that.
Give it a taste it’s worth trying ones!
