Nuttelex Buttery

Nuttelex buttery is a staple for me—I replace it whenever I run out.

In-fact, I’d even go as far as saying I like it more than I ever did butter made from cow’s milk.

It has a light, buttery flavour, is inexpensive, and compliments whatever sorts of things you’d usually make with butter.

For breakfast this morning I used it on a piece of dark rye toast with a lather of American-style peanut butter and chopped dark chocolate sprinkled on top. Washed it down with a cup of coffee, a glass of water, and a nectarine—delicious!

Someone give Nuttelex an #abillionhacks prize - each time I think I'm getting my favourite #veganbutter product, I come home and find that it's actually a slightly different variant to the last one that I'd bought 😁 (Or maybe that's just the messy UGC 😛)

Not the only prize that they deserve either. Apart from demonstrating that you well and truly can #ditchdairy without giving up on your decadent indulgences, they also do some commendable work with forests and orangutans (see second picture). A tub like this usually lasts me a long time; long enough for me to forget exactly which model I've just purchased and to add another dollar to the review pool 😉

I’ve tried many #nuttelex spreads, and true to its namesake, this one is more #buttery than the others.

It’s smooth to run a spoon into it and spread over a piece of toast. It’s a great #dairyfree alternative to butter 🧈

Found it at Village Grocer in Malaysia, not easily found in Singapore 😔

You could argue I owe the ability to go vegan to this product. Butter is one of the few things I missed, but luckily Nuttelex Buttery is available in every large supermarket here. It's a very credible substitute for spreading on toast, banana bread etc so very grateful it exists. An absolute staple. #veganisnotscary #dogsofabillion
