Organic Braised Tofu

Very good texture!  Definitely on the firm side.  Spices are subtle, reminiscent of Chinese 5-spice.  We love this!

Is this a dark tofu? Looks different from the usual light ones 

@herbimetal Just on the outside, I think from the braising. It’s the usual lighter color inside (I forgot to get a picture until after I’d eaten it - typical 😉).

Flavorful tofu, and quick and convenient to prepare.

This tofu is okay, but I was expecting it to have flavor. Really it just tasted ever so slightly more flavorful than regular super firm tofu.. to make a sandwich I had to top it with so much stuff and lots of hot sauce, haha.

First time trying this braised #[tofu](hashtag-5b61361bc215c949ed60ce0c) . The 5 spice was reminiscent of the aromatic broth of Thai soups that I enjoy. Not super flavorful just subtly so. It's rather wet which I wasn't a bit fan of , somehow I thought it would be more dry like a baked tofu. So far I've just snacked on it and eaten as is from the package which is sometimes what goes down with me and the fu. I bet it would be really good in some soup! Firm texture.
