This was lacking one of my favorite ingredients of Banh Mi’s, the creamy sauce. Since I took this home for lunch anyway, I made my own sauce with vegan Mayo, sriracha, and Hoisin sauce. I popped this sandwich in the toaster oven, and the bread came out nice and toasty. They also added glass noodles to this, which I thought was an interesting twist. This new vegan Vietnamese restaurant has a nice selection of options. English is limited among the employer/employees, but since this place is all vegan, I really don’t mind if they get my order wrong🙂.
