Review of Jerk ‘Goat’ Tacos at Club Mexicana, Spitalfields by whitemalteser25
This is a limited edition item on the menu listed as:
A plate of 3 jerk ‘goat’ tacos served with pineapple salsa,
coconut cream, pink pickled onions, red chilli, charcoal corn tortilla.
These were nice, I can’t comment on how the goat compared as I never tried it prior to becoming vegan but my partner said it tasted similar! The texture was good (similar to the bbq ribs served here) and the seasoning was nice our only criticism was it was very dry however we realised later when looking at the menu that they had forgotten to add the coconut cream so this might not be a fair review…
I personally wouldn’t reorder as these were more expensive than the other tacos and I prefer others on the menu but it is nice to try something different!
