Review of Coconut Milk - Trader Joe's by soybean31
I used to make flan with coconut milk even before we went vegan, simply because we like the taste of it better. But once I completely veganized the entire recipe, I realized that, not only is this version so much better than the traditional, but it's also way easier to make.
Once the caramel is made, this flan only requires 10 minutes of cooking, to activate the agar, which is what I use as a binding agent. Then just pop it in the refrigerator to chill, and you're done.
We often make this flan when we really want to impress our non-vegan friends at a vegan dinner party😁
