I bought a few Nüd Foods products at Toronto’s Planted Expo Show in April after sampling a few of their products. The truly tough decision was which foods was I not going to buy. They were all so good / delicious. I chose these Spirulina Banana Crisps because they are truly unique with the uncommon ingredient of spirulina. There are only four ingredients and all of them are organic. I’m not sure which ingredient gives the chips a minty scent.

Given the 4 natural ingredients, it’s no wonder these chips are loaded with fiber, iron, calcium and potassium. One of the best things about this is that it’s sodium free. That’s a real plus for me!

The blue/green colour of these chips is because of the spirulina which is actually an algae, high in vitamin A. You don’t see too many food products with spirulina.

These chips are a great example of food being made with real food. I think Nüd Foods is available in Metro. I will have to get these again.
