Review of Acai at Acai R by mayabhandari
This is by far my favorite açaí spot in San Francisco!
My go is the build your own acai where I can add as many bases and toppings as I’d like. It is amazing because there are more than 6 choices for each category of the bases, fruit, granola, sauce (such as peanut butter), nuts, and more.
For this bowl, I got the classic açaí, pitaya, and mango chia pudding as my bases. The pitaya here is to die for and the mango chia pudding is so unique and delicious in this combo. For the fruit, I got blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, and bananas. Their fruit is always fresh and sweet! I also got some cocoa butter, hemp seeds, and chia seeds. The combination of all of these things is truly delicious and you must try it!
