Review of Asian Style Vegetables with Stir Fry Sauce - Trader Joe's by triciaa

I didn’t care for this. I wanted to love it but the mix of veggies was off for me and the whole thing was too sweet. A lot of the veggies are on the sweet side—sugar peas, red pepper, carrot, corn— plus the sauce was sweet but lacked balance to me. My main disappointment though was it didn’t have enough mushrooms, broccoli and water chestnuts. That would have give better savory flavor and texture. Also it literally had 2 small pieces of the baby corn. Personally I’d rather pay a little more than get all the carrots and peppers that always feels like they’re just unloading the relatively inexpensive stuff.
