Review of 黄糖香饼 Heong Pheah - Biscuit Bean by stevenneoh
Nah sorry I like 香饼 to be flaky and large-ish, with a chewy sugar paste inside. These are the size/texture of a tambun biscuit, with a moist powdery filling. To top it off, the shelf-stable format is both packaging-intensive and less tasty than what you can get fresh from one of Penang's OG bakeries 😉 #malaysianeats
