Review of Masalvadai at Murugan Idli Shop by fourdollars
This is a different type of vadai from the meduvadai which is flour based. This is made from dal and tastes more like a crumbly patty than a doughnut. Fragrant and quite tasty! You don't really need to eat it with any chutney, unlike the meduvadai. But I still prefer the meduvadai as it's softer.
