I used this as chili oil for my bean curd liangpi dishđ¶ The ingredients are simple without any preservative or artificial flavoring. Theyâre made in small batches and the vibrant color alone conveys good qualityâ€ïž
It has a Mexican rootđČđœ yet so versatile for all sorts of cuisines. For me, itâs a great substitute of Chinese chili crunch/oil (I donât have a vent in my kitchen so I try to avoid any smoky activities there, including making chili oil). Itâs not quite as aromatic but sometimes thatâs a good thing, making it more neutral and adaptableđ
