This #feta was pretty close to the real deal in terms of both flavor and texture. You can tell it's not actually feta, especially because it doesnt really crumble the same way, but still a good swap.
Due to the #coconutoil, this #veganfeta is very #highinsaturatedfat so it's not something I'd eat often. I don't buy vegan cheese too much due to this, but I just made a salad that called for it so figured I'd give it a try again.
A nice salty #vegancheese which I like to use in salads and wraps sometimes! It's a bit messy with the brine in there but I appreciate the minimal packaging..a little goes a long way with this cheese. I made a salad with chickpeas, tomato and cucumber and this and it was so good !

Violife knows how to make plant-based / vegan cheese! This feta block is no exception. I didn’t try crumbling this cheese, but it certainly tastes like feta. It’s amazingly good. And it does melt well.
Fittingly, it’s made in Greece.🇬🇷 So it’s got to be authentic.
This cheese does not provide any nutritional benefit. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. I’m just saying one shouldn’t buy it because they think it’s nutritious.

I bought this Violife feta style cheese alternative at No Frills. I think it costed around $6.
I would definitely get this again.
