Tastes like how I remember "Real" Hellmann's Mayonnaise tasted like. The vegan version tastes and smells better. The vegan version has a few more ingredients (spice being one ;)) and contains every ingredient the old mayo has minus eggs from chickens. The vegan mayo-- I mean dressing and spread states its made in Canada with domestic and imported ingredients. The packaging is sort of eco-friendly, could be worse, could be way better, since its container ("jar" they call it) is recyclable and from upcycled plastic. The product has no artificial flavours, gluten, or cholesterol. I like how the label says what's good about this product. I wish it was greener, both environmentally and the colours of the packaging. It's obvious, buy the vegan version from Hellmann's. Never or never again buy the one that tortures and kills animals for some reasons (I think I know why) I could talk about perhaps more later.

When I was not a vegan, I was not a fan of mayonnaise 😑 but this vegan blend is amazing! The taste is incredible as well as its versatility. And it does not contain eggs so no salmonella poisoning. ☠️

So Hellmans changed their recipe a couple of months ago. I bought a jar and it had this sharp aftertaste that left a horrible taste in the mouth. We were throwing sandwiches away... I threw out the jar of Hellmans thinking I got a bad batch. Went back to buy another and it tasted the same (horrible). Took it back and told the store they had a bad batch. Two months later, I bought another jar... it didn't taste as bad but still slightly off... just couldn't place my finger on it... now I noticed they're using unidentified GMO "bioengineered" ingredients... Probably GMO Corn... Beware...
