I rarely buy Daiya pizza because it’s so ridiculously priced. But I have 4 Daiya pizzas in my freezer, so they must’ve been heavily discounted, but I can’t remember where (probably at Grocery Outlet).
I thought this pizza’s taste was fantastic. The gluten-free vegetable crust was a bonus. I liked the novelty of the vegetable crust; it’s something different that I hope will catch on. And I really liked the plant-based meatless pepperoni; it was superb.
As I do with other frozen pizzas, I added a couple toppings for additional flavour: this time, it was some Savör hickory bbq sauce and a scotch bonnet pepper (both reviewed previously).
Although I will occasionally buy this pizza again (there’s poor value at the regular price), I must remain cognizant of the sodium level. There’s a full day’s supply of sodium in every pizza, and I tend to eat the whole thing (they’re not that big). The calories, fat content and long list of ingredients are not appealing either.

I’ve never been a huge pizza eater ever. However, I felt like something quick and different tonight, but I didn’t feel like cooking. 🙃
Daiya Pizza though...I’m SO here for this! 🍕 The crust was thin and crispy, the meatless pepperoni taste great, the cheese melted well and the jalapeño gave it just the right amount of spice. 🌶 It’s a winner in my opinion! ✊🏾
Daiya gets a lot of hate, but I really liked this pizza!!! As with most store bought ones, I added more toppings - pineapple (don't hate!) & BBQ sauce! Nom nom will buy again. Love having them on hand for those days you don't want to cook!
This was a satisfying pizza to eat. I could taste the spice with every bite. I ended up eating the whole thing. This would be excellent for vegan pizza parties, and it would especially be great at parties for guests who can’t eat dairy.
Good pizza even though I don’t usually like daiya cheese.
