As mentioned in my other #tomato post, a friend recommended I stop at this food stand to get the #best #tomatoes ever. As I was shopping and talking to the grower, I knew I needed #more than just the plain ol' red tomatoes I came for. There was a table full of #heirloom tomatoes. The grower kindly picked out two tomatoes from there for me - this #pineapple one, and a "brandy wine" one #yettobereviewed. I think this one has the name because of the gorgeous colour, since it doesn't taste like pineapple. It was very #mellow in #flavour and nowhere near the acidity of grocery store tomatoes. I would've liked to think of another use for it, but all I wanted for a couple of weeks was #toastedtomatosandwiches 😅 I'd buy these again, or ask for even more recommendations to try instead!
