Review of Prickly Pear Cactus Herbal Tea - Tazo by iszy
This tea is part of Tazo's Exclusive Forager Collection. This flavor is inspired by the American Southwest. It's fun to try out these fun regional flavors in tea form. This prickly pear tea is sweet and fruity. It has a strong smell, but it isn't overwhelming when brewed. I thought it was nice hot, but I imagine it would be incredible iced. It became pretty undesirable when it was luke-warm, so I had to keep heating it up. The tea base is chamomile and has orange peel and hibiscus flowers along with the prickly pear The tea brews to have a pretty pink color.
My favorite Exclusive Forager flavor is still the Midwestern Wild Apple Sarsaparilla. However, it was nice to have this warm region flavor while I'm surrounded by snow.
