Review of Camembert Style Artisan Alternative to Cheese - Mouse's Favourite by mollyjane
I thought it really looked the part and was very well made, the taste did remind me a lot of camembert & I was impressed they were able to recreate the texture of the skin it has, but it was just missing that soft melty centre. Even after baking for 20 minutes it was solid (although they do state this in the product description) but it made it a little hard to eat as I found it stuck to the roof of my mouth. For a nice treat though it was an enjoyable enough posh vegan cheese, although i’m not sure if I would be willing to repurchasing as it was £9😱 #veganisnotscary #day49

Mouse's Favourite Thank you for your positive, informative review. We are working on a camembert that will bake, but at the moment it is not possible with the minimal ingredients that we use - just 4, Organic cashews, Water Culture and Salt. Best, Peter1 likeReply
