Review of Tofu Scramble at Le Pain Quotidien by tashacotton

I love the outdoor setting of this cafe, I spent a few hours here just relaxing with my hubby. I ordered the tofu scramble - a vegan take on scrambled eggs.
The scramble is made with tofu, soy milk, turmeric, paprika and mustard. It was a little bit bland for me but I easily dressed it up with some salt, pepper and asked for a fresh lemon which they have no problem.
The roasted tomato was yummy and I like the large portion of avocado. However I think they should have given more bread for that price so you can create your own avocado toast.
Side note- The staff here are great! I was looking for a magazine that wasn’t released yet and they called me once it had arrived at the cafe. Lovely place to spend the afternoon 😊
