Review of Extra Dark Chocolate - Lily's by aqualing
The fault is on me. I only saw “extra dark” without paying attention to the specific percentage.
70% cocoa is borderline dark for my palate. So the resulted wimpy flavor was entirely brought on by myself🤦🏻♀️. The texture is all right, neither very silky nor brittle, ordinary from a combo of cocoa butter and lecithin (2 kinds!!😬).
I see they’re trying to boost the health “benefits” by adding some inulin fiber and using erythritol instead of regular sugar, although the latter is a bit controversial. More than anything, I’m just sad that it doesn’t do justice to the #fairtrade beans😞
