Silk

This is the final milk from my family’s mylk tasting “event” yesterday!
It’s the Silk Oat Original with 50% more calcium. Technically, because the Chobani Oat (first mylk reviewed yesterday 5/26) was on sale, this was the most expensive at $4.49 for 1.89 liters.
But it was definitely worth it! As much as I enjoyed the packaging on Chobani’s and that it was “healthier” and had organic oats, this tastes sweet and delicious. It’s also creamy (both oat mylks were) and tastes great with a 3:1 ratio of Silk oat to Silk cashew! It was my dad’s favorite as well, but my sister (who drinks dairy milk) didn’t like it as much.

Overall, a great mylk for the price and size with great taste and flavor! I’d recommend it to all oat mylk lovers on a budget and those looking for a change!

Note: I have yet to try it in cereal. Will update when I do.

Update: Tastes great in cereal, just like Silk cashew. Slightly more like mylk with the thickness and sweetness.

thevegfriend Thanks! We actually found one in Ohio we were going to go to, but it ended up not working out 🙁 so we did our own! We still have a lot of mylks to try, and might expand to non-dairy ice cream, too! 😃Reply
