This “cheddar cheese” is good for quesadillas, melts well and the price is super good ! Good alternative for a lazy quesadillas lunch.
Here I used “blue corn tortillas” to prepare the quesadillas.
🤓 blue corn is a variety of corn mostly found in Mexico and some parts of USA. It’s well known that blue corn has antioxidant properties due to the high content of anthocyanin [btw also gives the blue, purple, or even pink color to the corn and the corn products].

abi88 For sure! in the center and south of Mexico we use the white corn. The blue one is mainly used in the center (where I am from) and in the north is more common the yellow. 😅 the varieties of corn are huge !! A lot of adaptation and domestication processes as well as human intervention through the years 🤓 nerdy again 😅😅 sorry !! 4 likesReply
