Review of Dried Gourmet Mix Mushrooms - The Wild Mushroom Company by mynameislisa

I found this huge jar of mushrooms at Costco, full of a variety of dried shrooms picked all over Europe and packaged in France. Quite a deal for under $12, but I didn't read the instructions in the store and have put the jar back in the pantry several times after realizing the prep time takes about 45 minutes before you can even start cooking them.

I finally committed to trying them this week by making little tarts with Pillsbury Crescent rolls, olive oil, nooch, garlic powder and Mrs Dash seasoning. Of course they were delicious, but I need to learn the trick to adding the filling without the rolls losing their shape in the oven. The ugly ones taste even better because they are stuffed with flavor.
